The Ajman Corniche works well in the evening for a stroll, a sit on the seafront and ice cream from one of the cafes, and Al Zorah is gorgeous at sunrise if you can rally the family for it.

Ajman Museum
If you have a curious kid (or just need an hour out of the sun that does not involve a screen), the Ajman Museum inside the old fort is a quiet win. Dioramas of traditional life, replica dhows, weaponry and that brilliant wind tower room are the parts most children remember. Entry is currently free as part of an Ajman tourism incentive that runs through the end of 2026 (the standard fee is around AED 5 adult and AED 1 child). It opens Saturday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm and Friday from 2:30pm to 8pm. A lovely change of pace from the arcade buzz.
