Ajman does malls a little differently. There is one big polished center with the brands and the cinema, and then a cluster of bargain malls, family spots, and old-school hypermarket centers that locals actually use week to week. In a UAE summer, the mall is also the plan, air conditioned, free to walk around and open late. Here is what each of the main Ajman malls is good for, so you pick the right one for the trip you are making.
The main shopping malls in Ajman
City Centre Ajman | Best all-rounder
If you want the full mall experience, this is it. City Centre Ajman is the emirate’s flagship, anchored by a big Carrefour and packed with high-street brands, a VOX cinema, the Magic Planet arcade and a proper food court. It is the busiest, brightest and most family-ready option in the city, which is exactly why it carries tens of thousands of five-star reviews. We have a full City Centre Ajman guide if you want the deep dive on shops, dining and family days.

Ajman China Mall | Best for bargains
A genuine Ajman institution and one of the largest bargain malls in the UAE. Ajman China Mall is hundreds of small shops selling clothing, shoes, watches, bags, lighting, home decor and furniture, most of it Chinese-made and priced to move. It is out in the Al Jurf industrial area, so trust your map, and give yourself a couple of hours because you will not cover it quickly. There is free parking, a food court and a mosque on site.

Ajman China Mall

WOW-Ajman Expert Tip: Go to China Mall with a shopping list and a rough budget, because the choice is overwhelming and a lot of stalls sell near-identical stock. Prices already run low, but it is normal to ask politely for a better deal on bigger buys. Weekends fill up from late afternoon, so a weekday morning is the calm window.
Al Murad Mall | Best for families with young kids
Al Murad Mall in Al Nuaimia is the easy family pick. There is a Carrefour for the weekly shop, a Sprinkles soft play with zones for different ages, a bowling alley, a food court and rooftop parking, plus prayer rooms and an Al Ansari Exchange on site. It is compact, clean and genuinely set up for parents, which makes it a reliable beat-the-heat morning with small children.

Safeer Mall | Best for everyday shopping
Safeer Mall in Al Nuaimia is the practical, everyday choice, built around a large Safeer hypermarket with a kids play zone, a food court and a spread of value shops. Grand Mall | Best for a quiet, no-fuss visit
One of Ajman’s older malls on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street, Grand Mall is calm and easy to navigate, with a Star Cinema, an Infinity gym, a Prime Medical Centre and a strongly Chinese mix of shops and restaurants. The ambiance is dated and some units sit empty, but if you want to run an errand or catch a film without the weekend crush, it does the job.

Also worth a look
A few smaller centres round out the picture. Grand Centrale on University Street in Al Jurf is a tidy modern department store, Ajman Boulevard nearby is a compact, well-rated centre, and Al Waha Shopping Centre in the industrial area is handy for everyday bits. None are destinations in their own right, but they are useful if you are already in the neighbourhood.
WOW-Ajman Expert Tip: In peak summer the malls are your best free, air-conditioned day out, and most stay open to midnight. For families, City Centre, Al Murad and CityLife have the best kids zones, while late morning is the quietest time for parking. Pair the trip with our indoor activities guide and the summer with kids guide for a full beat-the-heat plan.
