Ajman Museum

Ajman Museum

Ajman’s 18th century fort museum on the central square, pearl diving and Bedouin life exhibits across the walled rooms.

The 18th century Ajman Fort, now the emirate’s main museum, sitting on the central square opposite the Gold Souq. Exhibits trace pearl diving, Bedouin life, early policing and traditional medicine across a series of small rooms inside the walls. The watchtowers are climbable, the courtyard hosts seasonal displays, and an hour covers it without rushing. Best with kids who like fortresses or visitors who want the one-stop history brief. Re-verify the entry fee with Ajman Tourism before publishing; some sources still list AED 5.

Climb the watchtower first, before the rooms. The view orients the whole site and the heat hits harder on the climb if you do it later in the visit.
